Happy 2017. This is going to be an important year for a generation of fans of Genesis. As Phil Collins makes the stage as he is, if you have not heard not dead yet, Genesis fans will surely be given hope of a reunion in 2018/19. It is inevitable.
His son is learning the trade as a drummer. While Phil's solo work will surely be excellent training, I can not help but wonder if the young man wants to graduate to Genesis. The young apprentice always wants more.....
Mike and Steve will stay busy in 2017. I am planning on seeing Steve in March of 2017. Steve is so loyal to the early years, and deserves credit for connecting with a new generation of fans. It is going to be a truly magical year for Genesis fans.
Finally, the tribute bands and in full force. Regionally and nationally Genesis seems stronger than ever. There is something magical in the air, and its greater than Times Square, that's for sure. Have a happy new year. And may 2017 be a great one for all of my fellow Genesis fans.
