It would be a huge undertaking, as these tours were more expensive as the band became a large stadium tour band. The costs for such an experiment would be a huge risk for a band. However, it would be something new for fans to enjoy. The Progressive Era has enjoyed a huge following. The question is, would the Phil Collins era enjoy similar success?
Steve Hackett has demonstrated that post Gabriel material is alive and well. Could you imagine a reproduction of the Seconds Out tour with Bill Bruford? The possibilities are endless. There are bands that play material from all eras, however I have not seen a full concert reproduced with the same efforts as seen by Gabriel era tribute bands.
At this point, it is a wish to see the shows reproduced, but I am hopeful that the post Gabriel era witnesses the same revival as the Gabriel era.
